Commentary

The Western world has been in decline for generations now. But in the last 10-15 years it has become exponentially worse and at a quicker pace. God warned us that, like birth pangs, things would intensify and speed up in the last days. I truly believe that we are in the last days and it is time to “look up for your redemption is near.”

We need to remember, even memorize the Fruits of the Flesh and the Spirit. They are clearly define our world today. Jesus told us that we would know them by their fruits.

Genesis 15 NKJV

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are:
Adultery,
Fornication,
Uncleanness,
Lewdness,
Idolatry,
Sorcery (Drug Use),
hatred,
Contentions,
Jealousies,
Outbursts of wrath,
Selfish ambitions,
Dissensions,
heresies,
Envy,
Murders,
Drunkenness,
Revelries,
And the like;
Of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past,
that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Genesis 15 NKJV

But the fruit of the Spirit is:
Love,
Joy,
Peace,
Longsuffering,
Kindness,
Goodness,
Faithfulness,
Gentleness,
Self-control.

Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified
the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit,
let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited,
provoking one another, envying one another.
