Christmas With Jesus

Christ-mas is here, and I'm thinking of you, and wondering -
What are you doing there?
Your first Christ-mas in Heaven - what a spectacular place!
Nowhere on earth can compare!

As I pass by the places so decoratively lit,
with hundreds of lights all aglow,
I rejoice you're with Jesus, The Light of Heaven,
all His glory and splendor you now know!

When I hear Christ-mas Carols wherever I go,
telling of Jesus' birth,
I imagine your voice joining in with the throng,
joyfully proclaiming Jesus' worth!!

Together we will sit at the table overspread,
and we'll ask for God's presence and blessings;
I am thankful you're feasting with God's Family,
and Jesus - The Bread of Life, Living Water, King of Kings!

Though we miss your presence with us here every day,
and in so many different ways,
It is Jesus' love that bound our hearts here on earth,
and His love will reunite us some day.

So, while your're spending Christ-mas in the Presence
of Jesus, even though we are apart,
I will also be spending this Christ-mas with Jesus,
with His Presence and Peace in my heart.
